Paola Rebeca Villalba Martinez, Ecuadorian, studied her elementary and high school years at Alliance Academy International based in Quito, Ecuador. She studied Tourism Business Administration and dedicated her early career years as a tour guide around Ecuador.
Later, she studied a Masters in Social and Environmental Studies at Facultad Latino Americana de Ciencias Sociales (FLACSO). After completing her graduate studies, she has worked for public institutions in certain areas such as: environmental, climate change, risk management and community development.
During these years, she has worked with communities giving workshops and assisting them with contingency and evacuation plans when Cotopaxi Volcano started its activity in the year 2015. Additional to this, she has had the opportunity to volunteer and assist during the Ecuador earthquake in April 2016.
Paola likes to travel and learn about different cultures.
