EIA Fee Structure
Assessment Trips:
$12.50 per hour, or $100 per day.
Maximum $500
Gather preliminary data, facilitate communications, multiple site visits, research, emails, phone calls.
Make reservations for hotels, transportation, hiring cook and translator.
Work with other NGOs to coordinate and receive shipments and obtain materials.
Conduct water lab tests needed, coordinate site-seeing cultural tours as requested.
Work Team Trip
$12.50 per hour, or $100 per day.
Maximum $800
Provide Assessment Trip services, plus buy construction materials, handle shipping, and make sure materials are in place.
Coordinate community prep work, and cooridante sub contractors, such as well drillers.
Post Completion Follow Up
Negotiated per-project with EWB chapter.
Follow up with communities, visit communities to see that they have followed through on agreements.
Order materials, hire subcontractors to complete extra work.
Maintenance troubleshooting.
On-site Engineer
An engineer can present during construction at the cost of $100 day.
We require that one of our engineers attend at least the first day for communications with the community and continuity of communications.
Translation of Engineering Plans
We need the chapters to send plans (ie autocad etc) in spanish. If they want us to do the translation and convert from feet to meters we will charge $12.50/hr. We can translate it for you.
