I am fasting as a personal challenge to myself. In order for me to grow as a human, I feel that I must continue to change my routine. There are people in the world who don’t get the option of fasting, and must live in a constant state of hunger. I am very appreciative of my luckiness in this being something I will do for a weekend, knowing that after it is done, I can go back to shopping at stores and buying whatever food I need.
