Secretary: David Buck, P.E., Water Engineer at Jacobs Engineering

David has six years of civil engineering consulting experience and currently works for Jacobs Engineering in Seattle, WA. He works as a design engineer on water and wastewater conveyance and treatment projects for city, county, and state governments.

David received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota in Bioproducts and Biosystems Engineering and Spanish. During his studies, he developed an interest in international development engineering through another university non-profit organization.

After completing his undergraduate degree, David interned with EIA, living and working in La Paz, Bolivia for six months in 2012. While there, David provided engineering support, logistical coordination, and translation services for engineering teams. David then received a master’s degree from Cornell University, where he worked with drinking water treatment plants in Honduras.

David is currently part of the Suriqui project team and has traveled to Bolivia on two project trips since 2015. He enjoys hiking, traveling, and eating tasty food with his wife Rebecca.
