Miro KurkaCOL (Retired) Miroslav (Miro) Kurka, PE is a retired Army Engineer with more than 38 years of engineering experience, including 20 years of experience as a Program Manager and experience commanding two USACE Districts and serving as the Deputy Commander of the USACE Northwestern Division. He currently manage a 45-person design group at Mead & Hunt, Inc, where he is actively involved in USACE projects.

Miro is also very active in the Society of Military Engineers, where he is a fellow in the class of 2018 and the Deputy Regional Vice President for the TEXOMA Region. He is also active in the American Council of Engineering Companies.

Miro is a graduate of the United States Military Academy and has a Masters of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University and a Masters of Science in National Resource Strategy from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces. He is a professional engineer licensed in Oklahoma and Oregon and a Project Management Professional. He lives in Tulsa with his wife Bonnie. The Kurkas have three children and one grandson.
