EWB-Colorado Springs Professional Chapter is taking on this project. Their Assessment Trip was in March of 2009. This project is going to involve bringing potable water into the village and using aqua ducts for irrigation. They are also going to plug an abandoned mine which is polluting the scarce available water. EWB-Colorado Springs Professionals plan on beginning the Implementation phase in October or November of 2010.
