Engineers in Action

Engineers can change the world. We provide crucial connections between engineering groups and indiginous communities to build a better future.

Help us improve the quality of life for those in need.

Tacachia, Bolivia

Located in a steep valley area south of La Paz, this village is rather inaccessible to the city. EWB-MST is doing its assessment trip in August to look into building a foot bridge across the valley which will provide access to the city for health issues and which will allow produce to be carried across to sell in La Paz.

They are also going to be looking in to developing and irrigation system to increase agricultural output. EIA developed the project, matched it with EWB-MST, is providing all of the logistical and communications support, and will do the follow up and training once these are built.
