A.J Voth


Former Engineering Manager, Steiner Systems

Since 2016, A. J. Voth has been instrumental to EIA. As a mechanical engineering graduate from the University of Illinois at Chicago, he left the corporate world in 2005 and dedicated his retirement to volunteering on projects in the developing world. His extensive work with EIA and Engineers Without Borders (EWB) includes water, sanitation, bridge, and energy projects across Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, and El Salvador. At EIA, A. J. has served on the board of directors and briefly on the advisory board, holding roles such as president, vice president, and secretary. He is actively involved in service club outreach, promoting EIA’s mission to various service groups, including Rotary, Kiwanis Exchange Club, Optimists, and Lions Clubs. His dedication to engineering and community service exemplifies his commitment to making a positive impact. A. J.'s hands-on approach and leadership have been crucial in driving EIA’s initiatives forward and fostering collaboration among diverse groups to support sustainable development.
