Changing Lives, One Project at a Time
Each year, EIA improves the lives of over 5,000 people by building critical infrastructure in their communities.
Success starts with the way we do our work, which maximizes the impact of the time, expertise, and dollars that are invested.

Need + Commitment
We select 50 communities annually whose need is matched by their commitment to the success of their project.
Local Expertise
Talented in-country teams build trust and a strong sense of shared investment by understanding each community’s history, culture and strengths, and speaking the local indigenous languages.
Lasting Change
Empowering a community for the long-term takes more than just bricks and mortar.
We help communities set up strong oversight and management practices and train members to maintain and safely operate their implementations.
Health educators provide workshops and training for students and families about health, sanitation and hygiene accelerating the effect of a new physical structure.
