Former President of Guy Engineering (Retired)

Serving EIA since 2008, John is a founding board member of EIA and the first president of the board of directors. He served as the technical advisor for the University of Tulsa Engineers Without Borders teams and has traveled to Bolivia supporting EIA projects on five occasions. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Oklahoma State University and served for 30 years in the Oklahoma National Guard, finishing his military career as the director of operations responsible for Army and Air Guard responses to emergencies and natural disasters. He became a minority partner of Guy Engineering and later became the majority partner in 2014. He served as president of Guy Engineering, expanding the company and establishing an employee stock ownership plan. He retired from the engineering business in March 2022. In retirement, he enjoys traveling the world.
