MJ has been serving with EIA since 2008, including previously serving as EIA’s board president. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in chemical and environmental engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. Her career has spanned the aerospace and oil and gas industries, including roles as project manager at Boeing, Explorer, and BP, president of EDECO, and facilities engineer at Apache Corporation. Currently, she is an active volunteer as a professional mentor, reading tutor, and board member of EIA. MJ’s diverse professional background, coupled with her strategic leadership roles, showcases her multifaceted expertise. Her commitment to volunteering extends beyond her professional achievements; she actively participates in mentoring young professionals, fostering the next generation of engineers. MJ’s dedication to making a positive impact in both her field and community significantly aids EIA’s mission to uplift and transform communities. Her unwavering support and hands-on involvement have been instrumental in driving meaningful change and supporting sustainable development initiatives.
