Njabulo Dlamini

Junior Technical Officer

Njabulo holds a Diploma in Civil Engineering from Mangosuthu University of Technology in South Africa, which he earned in 2022. During his studies, he completed in-service training at ED Simelane & Associates, where he assisted in the reinforcement design of structural elements and gained exposure to construction material testing. After graduating, he joined the Microprojects Programme Coordination Unit as a Junior Technical Projects Officer, working on the design of low-level crossings, community halls, and school projects. In 2024, he became a Bridge Program Intern with Engineers in Action in Eswatini.

As a child, Njabulo was passionate about playing soccer with friends, spending hours after school kicking the ball around and strengthening friendships. His biggest professional accomplishment has been designing and constructing a 30-meter portal culvert low-level bridge.

Beyond engineering, he has a strong interest in large-scale farming, particularly growing vegetables and corn. His ultimate dream is to develop infrastructure solutions that address challenges in his community and other disadvantaged areas in Eswatini. He hopes to contribute to poverty alleviation and ensure that location does not limit access to opportunities.

We're passionate about our people – here's their path in Engineers in Action!
