Engineers in Action is a dynamic team of individuals, partner organizations, volunteers and supporters who all come together to achieve one mission: improve the lives of people in need. Whether that’s accomplished through a long-term water project that provides a basic asset to thousands and applicable skills to many, or by encouraging community development with a playground to enhance local childrens’ cognitive development, we all partner to make the world we work in a better place.
Some of our partner organizations include:
- Rotary International
- Bridges to Prosperity
- Engineers Without Borders
- Bolivian United Methodist Church
- Kids Around the World
- Local communities
- The communities we work in include large groups of indigenous people eager to learn, grow their capacity and build their local communities. Our ongoing relationships with these individuals provide an incredible opportunity for our partners, volunteers, supporters and staff to engrain themselves into their every day lives. Our local staff across Latin America regularly meet with our project communities, while US-based staff, partners and volunteers often spend weeks at a time living, learning and working side by side with our most significant partners: the communities we are honored to serve.
