Simiso Dlamini
Junior Technical Officer
Simiso earned a National Diploma in Civil Engineering from U-Tech College and completed an internship with Microproject in 2023. In 2024, he joined the Engineers in Action (EIA) Bridge Program as a technical intern. His introduction to suspended footbridges came through work with the FAU team in Eswatini on the KaBodali (Nkhaba) project. Additionally, he received training in inventory management of working tools at EIA Eswatini and contributed to the construction of the Lelubanti Suspension Footbridge (Gege) in Eswatini.
As a child, Simiso had a passion for creating artworks, playing guitar, running, and gardening. His biggest accomplishment in the EIA Bridge Program has been developing a strong understanding of suspended and suspension bridges, both in design and construction.
Beyond building bridges, Simiso enjoys meeting new people, traveling, art, music, agriculture, and physical training. His ultimate dream is to travel the world and establish himself as a successful entrepreneur.

We're passionate about our people – here's their path in Engineers in Action!
